In 1983 friends, and horse training partners Barry and Larry opened The Wiener’s Circle, a hot dog business affectionately named in honor of their time spent together celebrating in the winner’s circle of many horse races. The restaurant was a fixer-upper, six hundred sq feet of potential in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood.
